This was a prototype to a planned restaurant, Prudence, in Harbor Springs, MI. "Prudence" is taken from one of Ernest Hemingway's many short stories about Nick Adams. An Indian American, Prudence apparently is Nick's girlfriend.
The proposed logo incorporates both Hemingway as a writer, but also Prudence as an American Indian. The feather relates to both the Indian connection and to the art of writing.
